AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) -- As deadlines approach to sign up for health insurance, Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center employees reminded residents they are available to help when choosing an health insurance plan.

The deadline to sign-up under the Affordable Care Act is March 31. Those without insurance will have to pay a tax penalty each month following the deadline.

J. Allen Tyra, CEO, said employees are available to help residents navigate through the health care enrollment website, find the right plan and find out whether a family is eligible for Medicaid.

To make an appointment with the medical center for sign-up help, call 662-305-8621.
