KOSSUTH, Miss. (WTVA) -- A section of Highway 2 west of Kossuth has reopened following an traffic accident Monday.
A Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson says the driver of a gravel truck was traveling west on the highway when the truck ran off the highway and overturned.
The roadway was shut down for nearly an hour.
Work crews did remain at the scene for several hours trying to clean up the area when the wreck occured.
The accident remains under investigation.
