TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- How would you like to buy a 737 airplane for 30 grand?

That's about the price of some older models minus the engines.

Universal Asset Management in Tupelo handles such planes daily.

You may have seen all those huge airplanes near the Tupelo Regional Airport.

Today, company officials opened their doors for a tour of their compound which includes a variety of aircraft.

All are disassembled and the parts are sold separately because they are actually worth more than the whole plane in many cases.

"They may not be able to get their best value in a whole aircraft condition. We're able to get even more money for them on that investment by selling off all the components," Universal Asset Management Chief Operating Officer Keri Wright said.

The company can disassemble up to two 747's and up to five 737's in one month.
