COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- Funeral services are Saturday for two brothers who died after an all-terrain vehicle overturned in a creek and they were swept away by the current.

Justin Wayne Brown, 9, and Jacob Conner Brown, 6, will be remembered during a service at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Columbus.

An ATV carrying the two boys, their father and three other people was crossing a spillway last Saturday where the Magby and Luxapalila creeks intersect when a strong current flipped the vehicle.

Fire officials say the the current swept the boys into a creek that is up to 12 feet deep.
