MYRTLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- Four men remain in the Union County jail facing numerous charges after a manhunt to find one of them Tuesday night.
Sheriff Jimmy Edwards says Cassel Vaughn, 22, of Holly Springs, Keshun Cook, 19, of New Albany, Jeremiah Young, 26 of New Albany, and Quentin Gilbert, 20, of New Albany all face charges after they were stopped by Myrtle police around 3:15 p.m.
Authorities say the four were wanted in connection with a shooting incident in Holly Springs earlier in the day.
Police officials say no one was injured in the shooting.
Vaughn ran from authorities following the stop and was located following a manhunt in the Myrtle area.
Edwards says over a two pounds of marijuana was found in their vehicle.
Authorities also found two firearms wrapped in a shirt in a wooded area on County Road 515 near the Myrtle exit on Highway 78.
All four are charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, transfer or distribute over a kilo.
Vaughn, Young, and Cook are also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Holly Springs police have not said if any charges will be filed in the case.
