ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Monroe County authorities have arrested four people on drug charges.
Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Linda Freeman, 25, and Wesley Hampton, 35, both of Amory were arrested after deputies served a search warrant on a home on I Avenue in Amory.
Freeman and Hampton are charged with possession of marijuana with intent. Freeman is also charged with child endangerment.
Kenneth Roberts, 41, of Amory was arrested after a traffic stop on I Avenue in Amory. He is charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Michael Shane Laney, 41, of Blue Springs was arrested following a traffic stop routine traffic stop at Liberty Road and Airline Road.
Laney is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
In a fifth arrest, Nicholas Seidl, 25, of Nettleton was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
All five remain in the Monroe County jail waiting initial appearances in Monroe County Justice Court.
