HOUSTON, Tex. (WTVA) -- A federal judge has set a sentencing date in January for the former chief financial officer of Stanford Financial Group.

The charges stem from a federal investigation of Stanford Financial Group.

Davis is among three people charged with defrauding investors of over $7 billion in a Ponzi scheme.

The federal judge set his sentencing for January 22 at 9 a.m. in U. S. District Court in Houston, Texas.
