KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Fireworks is believed to be the cause of a fire that destroyed an abandoned home in Attala County Sunday afternoon.
WTVA News Partner Kosyonline.com reports the fire burned the home on Country Road 4102 south of the town of Sallis.
Firefighters from three volunteer departments responded to the fire and found the wood frame structure was destroyed but continuing to burn.
An investigation leads authorities to believe a group of juveniles were shooting fireworks around the home when the fire started.
