TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The wait staff at a Tupelo restaurant got to experience an etiquette class.
Old Venice Pizza Company in Tupelo was the sight for a hands on demonstration on how to enhance service for customers.
Serving the customers with proper dining etiquette is a top priority when it comes to fine dining.
Topics covered ranged from how to remove a plate to presenting a customer with a plate or a wine bottle.
The overall basic education of etiquette starts with the fundamentals and is enhanced with experience and proper attire.
"I do believe quality is everything when you are dinning," adds Kelly Brewer, Owner of Kelly Brewer School of Etiquette. "We always have to go back to those old school principals of etiquette and having good manners and dining. That makes it so much more enjoyable when you are out eating with your family and friends."
Etiquette classes like these are designed to enhance the dining experience. In turn, the customer will not only come back but tip graciously.
