TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- A recent fundraiser provided a financial boost to help with diabetes research and education.
Thursday morning, BNI Northeast Mississippi Marketing Group and Devilish Mary's presented a check for $7,000 to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi during a ceremony at the Big Oaks Golf Club.
The money was raised during a fashion show earlier this month.
Officials say the donation will be used for various projects in Mississippi.
