Domestic violence call leads to discovery of meth lab

BURNSVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- Early Monday morning, deputies with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department responded to a disturbance at the Hilltop Apartments in Burnsville.

As a result of the disturbance, Julie Yager, 32, and Kenneth Mincy, 45, were arrested for domestic violence.

The deputies at the scene developed information pertaining to methamphetamine being manufactured at the residence of Mincy and Yager.

The Tishomingo County sheriff executed a search warrant at the residence.

As a result, authorities seized a methamphetamine lab and methamphetamine from the residence.

As a result of the search warrant, Mincy and Yager were arrested for manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of pre-cursors with the intent to manufacture meth and possession of meth.

Mincy had a hold placed on him by the MS Department of Corrections.
