STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) _ The Starkville School District Board of Trustees has narrowed the list to three in its search for a new school superintendent.

The board announced Friday morning Lewis Holloway, Superintendent of Bulloch County, Georgia; Michael McInnis, Superintendent of Union School District, and Michael VanWinkle, Assistant Superintendent of Jackson County School District as the finalists.

Holloway, McInnis, and Van Winkle will each make a public presentation on Monday, February 6 beginning at 5:30 pm in the SHS Theater.

Following each candidate's presentation, the board will ask questions of the finalists submitted by SSD stakeholders.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to complete an evaluation form on each candidate Monday night following the presentations.

A reception for the finalists and the Starkville community sponsored by the Starkville Foundation for Public Education, Parents for Public Schools and PTA will immediately follow in the SHS library.
