STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Oktibbeha County sheriff's deputies said they have arrested a former Mississippi State University student on an extortion charge.
28-year-old Seyedmohsen Hosseini was taken into custody Thursday at his apartment in the Campus Trails Apartments.
A news release said the arrest came as deputies were investigating a complaint of threats being made.
No other details about the crime were released.
