Tupelo Regional Airport (Craig Ford)
(WTVA) - It looks like Tupelo will get back that early morning flight by Delta Air Lines.

On Friday, the Tupelo Airport Authority said the city would lose the flight to Memphis early next month.

The airline said the cut was due to aircraft scheduling issues.

But Tuesday, Delta said that flight would return May 1 and a second Memphis flight would be added June 10.

The carrier offers commuter service to Memphis and Atlanta through Mesaba Airlines which does business as the Delta Connection.
