Curfew in effect for some Tupelo neighborhoods

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Tupelo city officials say a curfew will remain in effect for areas still feeling the effects of a Monday tornado.

The curfew covers the neighborhood north of West Jackson Street between North Gloster Street and the Natchez Trace Parkway.  

It also is in effect for the area north of McCullough Blvd. from Highway 45 to the Natchez Trace Parkway and stretches north to Barnes Crossing Road.

It also covers areas north of Jackson Street between Gloster Street and Spring Street.

Crews are working to clear debris and restore power to those areas.
