OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- Police in Oxford made more than two dozen arrests over the weekend.
Ole Miss hosted Texas A&M Saturday.
Officers issues 43 tickets and made 27 arrests.
Those arrests included three for DUI, one for petit larceny, two for careless driving, DUI and one person was arrested for driving the wrong way on a one way, no insurance and no drivers license.
There were 12 public drunkenness arrests.
One person was arrested for driving the wrong way on a one way, driving with suspended license and DUI.
One person was arrested for disorderly conduct, one person was arrested for public drunkenness and resisting arrest, and one person was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
One person was arrested for obstructing traffic, having no drivers license and DUI.
One person was arrested for disturbing the peace and one person was arrested for speeding and DUI.
Officers also responded to a burglary just after Midnight on Sunday. Foot patrol found Daniel J. Mulkey, 20 of Round Rock Texas, had broken into the Vaughn Design located on Courthouse Square.
Mulkey was taken into custody inside the business and transported to jail where he will be given a preliminary hearing sometime on Monday.
