TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Boeing 757-200 airplane refurbished by Universal Asset Management has a new owner.

The plane left the Tupelo Regional Airport Tuesday afternoon in route to Victorville, California.

The 21-year-old aircraft originally belonged to Isreali airline, SunDor.

TRA Director Josh Abramson says it is the first airplane UAM has renovated and sold as a working aircraft at its Tupelo facility.

He would not release the name of the buyer, but an internet search of the plane's tail number shows the plane is registered to Federal Express.
