COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Columbus man has pleaded guilty to federal charges of possession of child pornography.
Noel Sumrall, 67, entered the guilty plea in U. S. District Court in Oxford on Monday.
Sumrall was arrested in December of 2011 by local authorities after a large amount of child pornography was found at a home on Fifth Avenue North.
The original arrest came after a tip to Columbus police.
Sumrall will be sentenced at a later date.
