TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- An old building in downtown Tupelo has received a facelift.

The old Coca-Cola building is now a new branch of Renasant Bank.

Restoration work began one year ago at the building on Troy Street.

Renasant Bank Vice President John Oxford says the building was the first Coca-Cola distributor in northeast Mississippi.

It was build around 1925.

"Rehabbing a building is something we like to do to keep the character and charm in downtown Tupelo, and Renasant was proud to keep it going," Oxford said.

The building will be used for corporate offices.

There will be a 24-hour ATM.

Other transactions can be made through the drive-thru during regular business hours.
