Paul Kevin Curtis was released from the Lafayette County Jail on bond Tuesday afternoon.

A short time later, was notified the complaint against Curtis was dropped "without prejudice."

Defense Attorney Christi McCoy, along with Curtis, held a news conference late Tuesday afternoon in Oxford.

Curtis said he never heard of ricin. "I thought they said rice," said Curtis. "I don't even eat rice."
