LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- The cause of death for a man found on County Road 395 Monday has been determined as natural causes, according to Coroner Carolyn Green.
Authorities said Robert Pruitt, 48, of Golden had been working to clear land when a co-worker found him dead near a tree at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Green said a heart-related event, heart attack or sudden cardiac failure, is likely what caused Pruitt's death.
She added she did not find any limbs or trees nearby and the body showed no signs of obvious physical trauma.
