TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The list of counties in Mississippi under a burn ban could start to dwindle a little over the next week or so.

A burn ban is scheduled to expire Wednesday for Lafayette County.

Lee County is expected to see its burn ban lifted on Friday.

That is according to the Mississippi Forestry Commission's website.

There are about 15 counties in the northern part of the state that have been under a burn ban.

For a complete list of all the counties and when they are scheduled to be lifted from a burn ban, you can go either to the linkfinder here at WTVA.com.

Or you can visit the Mississippi Forestry Commission's website at www.mfc.ms.gov
