Bond set at $1,000,000 in Tupelo shooting

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Bond has been set at $1 million each for two men charged in a Tuesday morning shooting in Tupelo.

Tiuntae Dixon, 18, and Jeremy Merideth, 32,are charged with aggravated assault.

Police say the charges were filed after a man was shot in the abdomen around 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Hillsdale Apartments on Monument Drive.

The victim was seriously injured in the shooting.

The U. S. Marshals Service helped locate Dixon and Merideth.

Both men are being held in the Lee County Adult Detention Center.
