TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A Lee County woman charged with kidnapping and  aggravated assault in a case where a woman was beaten and set on fire is out of jail after a judge reduced her bond.

Cherie Clark, 40, was released on a $50,000 bond.

Clark and Christopher Mink, 43, of Highway 370 in the Pratts community  are charged with the September 14 attack on a woman authorities say they lured to the home.

The woman was beaten, choked, tied up, and set on fire in a wooded area.

The woman managed to put out the flames, free herself and walked to a home for help.

She was treated at a hospital and is continuing to recover at a relative's home in the southern part of the state.

Clark's initial bond was set at $500,000, but a circuit court judge signed an order this week reducing her bond.

She bonded out of jail Thursday.
