SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) -- The North Lee Water Association has lifted a boil water notice issued last week for customers north of the Fellowship Well.

The notice effected residents on County Roads 885, 823, 831, 1752, 821 between 885 and Highway 363 and the northern portion of county roads 931 and 1057 who get their drinking water from the North Lee County Water Association located in Lee County.

A spokesperson for the water system stated this precautionary action was necessary because the system lost pressure due to a main line break.

Testing shows the water is once again safe to drink.
