COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - There is more legal trouble for Starkville Academy's baseball coach.The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics says Shane Bazzell of Columbus was arrested Thursday after being released from the Lowndes County jail on an unrelated charge.
This latest arrest comes because a grand jury indicted the 30 year old on charges where he is accused of fraudulently obtaining a drug used to treat attention deficit disorder.
Drug agents say Bazzell used 13 health care providers to obtain more than 11,000 dosage units of Adderall in Chickasaw, Clay, Lowndes, Pontotoc and Union counties.
According to The Commercial Dispatch, Bazzell was arrested January 15 after being accused of stealing an all-terrain vehicle.
