COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A West Point man has been arrested after authorities say they found over a pound of marijuana during a traffic stop Monday night.
The Lowndes County Narcotics unit reports Jeffrey Terrell Walker, 23, was stopped by an agent on South Frontage Road in Columbus.
Authorities say the stop was initiated after agents had the vehicle under surveillance as part of a drug enforcement operation.
Walker is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
