STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- Investigators with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an early morning shooting.
According to authorities, deputies responded to the Oktibbeha County Hospital emergency room just before 1:35a.m. Friday morning to a report of a gun shot victim.
The victim told deputies he was leaving a friend’s house on Blair Road in the Blackjack Community when he heard a noise he thought was a blow out.
The victim says the back glass of his SUV busted and he realized he was shot and drove himself to the hospital.
Investigators say the suspect wanted in this case is Lorenzo Hunter, 27.
Warrants have been issued for Hunter's arrest.

Authorities say Hunter is considered armed and dangerous.
