ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- On Wednesday, November 14, the Monroe County Sheriff Department, along with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit arrested a man from Amory.
Investigators say Michael Montez Wright, 29, was taken into custody at a location on Pecan Road in Smithville, after authorities served a search warrant.
Wright is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell.
Agents say they recovered a large amount of crack cocaine and digital scales at the residence.
At the time of his arrest, Wright was currently out on parole for multiple counts of sell of crack-cocaine, marijuana and methadone tablets.
His bond has been set at $75,000, and he has a hold by the MS Department of Corrections.
