OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting Friday morning.
The Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department said a search warrant executed on Blair Road led to the discovery of the suspect, 27-year-old Lorenzo Lamas Hunter.
Deputies believe Hunter allegedly shot into another man's sport-utility vehicle early Friday morning on Blair Road in the Blackjack community, wounding the driver.
The unidentified victim drove himself to the hospital and later told authorities about the ordeal.
Hunter has been charged with aggravated assault and is currently being held in the Oktibbeha County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
