OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- The attorney for a Marshall County man facing charges he used the internet to arrange to meet a 15-year-old for sex claims his client was entrapped by law enforcement.

The claim is made in a a filing to continue the trial of Bradley Allen Gilmore, 23, of Potts Camp.

Gilmore was arrested by Tupelo police in March.

In the filing for the continuance, Gilmore's attorney claims he answered an ad placed on the internet about a minor female seeking companionship with a male.

He claims the ad was placed by law enforcement.

The federal judge has reset the trial date for September 30 in U. S. District Court in Oxford.
