ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Monroe and Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Departments have joined forces courtesy of an Amory businessman.
Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says his department has received $10,000 from an anonymous donor to purchase more vehicles.
That's where Oktibbeha County Sheriff Steve Gladney steps in.
His department sold used vehicles to Monroe County for just $10,000.
"Everybody is in a budget crunch and this is just a shot in the arm for Monroe County Sheriff's Department and we just appreciate somebody that would do this to help the people of Monroe County and help our sheriff's department," Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said.
The vehicles should be ready for the road early next week.
