HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- Three people have been indicted by the Chickasaw County Grand Jury for fraudulent use of an insurance card.
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood announced the indictments and arrest on Wednesday.
He says Robert Polk, 46, of Tupelo and Lajarrance Standfield, 23, of Okolona presented cards belonging to other people to a justice court clerk after being cited for not having insurance.
Pamela Fewell, 50, of Bolton is accused of faxing a fake insurance card to the clerk.
Hood says Fewell is also charged with wire fraud in connection with the case.
The three cases are not believed to be related.
He says each face five years in prison on each count.
Hood says anyone with information about people responsible for the creation and sale of fake insurance cards should contact his office at 601-359-4250.
