AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) - The Amory board of aldermen held a public hearing Tuesday night regarding a proposed property tax hike for the city.
Mayor Brad Blalock tells WTVA.com that a vote on the property tax has been tabled until another night.
The mayor says the board would like to study the subject further before taking a vote.
He says a notice will run in the Monroe Journal for a date on the second hearing to discuss the vote.
