ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - An Alcorn County nurse has turned herself in to face charges for fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance from the hospital where she worked.
Attorney General Jim Hood says Stephanie Williams, 29, of Walnut was arrested Thursday.
Officials say at the time the alleged crime was committed, Williams was employed as a licensed practical nurse at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
If convicted, Williams faces up to five years behind bars.
