ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA)-- Aberdeen continues to celebrate 175 years by bringing the community together.
Tuesday night, the town shared a Thanksgiving potluck dinner at the Park and Recreation Center.
Several area ministers shared prayers and devotion.
"This is one of several events we had this year. We just feel this is a time of Thanksgiving and an opportunity we can show the community how much we appreciate them. At the same time give them an opportunity to share in this community," said Mayor Cecil Belle.
The town also collected canned goods for the local food pantry.
