ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- Are you ready for hoop skirts and mint juleps?
It's pilgrimage time again.
Aberdeen kicks off their 38th tour of homes Friday, April 5.
Some of the south's finest examples of historic homes will be on the tour.
A host of other events are planned including a tasting of traditional southern cuisine, a cemetery tour, carriage rides, storytelling and even a guided tour from the Mystic Mississippi Paranormal Society.
Organizers say they are very encouraged by the advance orders for tickets.
"I know virtually nothing of the different styles and what have you. I just know what looks good to me and we've really got some super ones," Aberdeen Pilgrimage Association President Dan Barnette said.
