TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- It's a classroom tool that gains the ultimate compliment from kids.
They say clickers are cool!
This tool, which resembles a mouse, is used to enhance interactive lessons in the classroom.
Pierce Street Elementary students are among those in the district to regularly use clickers.
"It's really easy because she doesn't have to come around the room and put it on a piece of paper and say this person chose "a" and this person chose "b" and it's a lot easier," student Dalton Hughes said.
"Oh! They love it. It's very hands-on. They pay so much more attention. They want to do it. They want to be involved in it. It's very great for the teacher because it's a very quick assessment. I can go straight to see which student needs help," teacher Megan Dillard said.
During instruction, the teacher can ask a question and know in seconds how students responded.
