SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck Monday evening on Highway 45.
The accident happened near the Natchez Trace Parkway bridge as people were heading home from work.
Fire Chief Mark Nowell said the people taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo were a male and a female — one in each vehicle.
His firefighters had to cut into the vehicles to get the people out.
The conditions of the two are not known.
