BALDWYN, Miss. (WTVA) — A woman is dead, and four children were taken to the hospital following a Wednesday night traffic accident in Baldwyn.
Baldwyn Police identify the woman as Ashley Scott, 24, of Baldwyn.
The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Highway 45 at County Road 2878 near the Get & Go convenience store.
Authorities say it appears Scott was driving the car and attempted to cross the highway when a car heading south smashed into it.
The accident remains under investigation.
