FARMINGTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- An 11-year-old hospitalized for a gunshot wound has died.
Alcorn County Sheriff Investigator Tommy Hopkins tells WTVA.com he was notified Thursday afternoon Andrew Loyd had died at a Memphis hospital.
Hopkins says Loyd was found Tuesday night around 11:45 p.m. after a woman became concerned about a message posted on Facebook.
His Father, Billy Loyd, Jr., 51, was found dead in the same room where the boy was found.
