JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi Attorney General's Office is offering help to homeowners locally who are dealing with foreclosure issues.
Meetings will be held in Tupelo and Columbus next month where the Mississippi Foreclosure Prevention Consortium will provide information for those people behind on paying their mortgages.
The meeting in Tupelo will take place December 4 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Lee County Library at 219 North Madison Street.
The one in Columbus is scheduled for December 5 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club at 1815 14th Avenue North.
Anyone planning to attend is asked to bring mortgage and banking documents.
