We are watching a storm system in the Central and Southern Plains as it moves to the east overnight. This system will move into the area on Sunday. This system will give us some patches of rain and storms. This system has a potential to give us some strong to severe storms. By far most of the energy to produce severe weather will be to our north, however we are still on the southern fringes of this area. Our severe weather culprits will most likely be strong/gusty winds and some large hail. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
This system will move out of the area on our Sunday night and into Monday morning. We will see the skies clear out in most areas on Monday morning and temperatures will be just a little bit cooler. Our daytime highs mostly in the 70s. While our overnight lows will drop off into the 40s and 50s.
