ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Aberdeen Board of Aldermen are calling for an investigation into a reported altercation between the police chief and a patrol officer Friday night.
The city attorney tells WTVA's Wayne Hereford the board voted to authorize the probe during a meeting Monday morning.
He says Aberdeen Police Chief Henry Randle and Officer Jason Franks became involved in a physical confrontation inside the police station.
Franks was in uniform at the time of the incident.
