ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) — A nurse from Arkansas died in a traffic accident Monday afternoon in Monroe County.

Coroner Alan Gurley has identified the woman as 59-year-old Linda White of Osceola, Ark.

The accident happened after 2 p.m. more than two miles south of Highway 41.

According to Gurley, White was riding in a van when it ran off Highway 45 Alternate between two bridges and landed near a creek.

The driver and two others were taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.

There's no word on the names of the others involved in the accident or how seriously they were hurt.

However, the coroner did say all four were hospice employees heading to a training meeting in Livingston, Ala.
