LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A man has died after a three-vehicle crash on County Road 814, according to authorities.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green said emergency responders got the call at approximately 7:15 p.m. Friday.
A 77-year-old man -- believed to be from the Fulton area -- died at the scene.
His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Green said the man apparently veered into the opposite lane and hit a van, then another vehicle collided with that wreck.
At least three other people were transported to North Mississippi Medical Center, according to the coroner.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lee County Sheriff's Department.
