PASADENA, Tex. (WTVA) -- KiOR officials say the company is making progress at the facility in Columbus.

Company officials say the company is delivering blended diesel fuel produced at the company's first commercial scale facility.

Those shipments helped the company show $87,000 in revenue, when compared to zero revenue during the first quarter of 2012.

KiOR officials reported a net loss of $31.3 million during the first quarter of 2013.

Company officials say the shipments from Columbus show the core technology is continuing to operate as designed, and the facility is producing high quality oil and cellulosic fuel.

They expect fuel shipments to increase and become more frequent.

KiOR is also working to build a 1,500 bone dry ton per day project in Natchez.
