STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) _ Authorities have uncovered more bones in the area where human remains were found last week in Oktibbeha County.
Coroner Michael Hunt says the latest find was made Tuesday along Reed Road in the Adaton community.
He says they are working with a forensic investigator and expected to send the bones to Jackson next week.
He says the bones show no sign of trauma.
As for the identity of the person, Hunt says they have an idea who it may be.
He says they will conduct DNA testing to be sure.
He expects it to be a month to six weeks before the results are available.
