COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Columbus woman faces charges of arson after she set a fire at a business over the weekend.
A warrant was issued for Brittany Rebecca Porter, 22, of 3rd Avenue South following an investigation into the incident.
Authorities say she apparently was involved in some type of dispute with the business owner, and set fire to a piece of paper stuck in
the door of the business.
The fire did not cause any damage.
A Columbus police spokesperson says Porter was identified during their investigation and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Authorities says she turned herself in at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center Wednesday.
