COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Columbus man has pleaded guilty for his role in a drug trafficking ring in the Golden Triangle.
Marcus Walker, 34, entered a guilty plea Wednesday to one count of sale of a controlled substance.
Walker was among a group of people indicted in February following a year-long investigation into the drug trafficking in Lowndes County.
Authorities say the investigation focuses mostly on the distribution of cocaine.
Walker will be sentenced at a later date.
